Position Description :

- As a member of the Regional Finance department the role will focus on producing additional value add management reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

- The Regional Finance team are responsible for providing management reporting and analytics on all revenue generating business's (including Institutional Equities, Investment Banking, Asset Management, FICC, Retail Broking & Alternative Investments) as well as the support departments (IT, Operations, Finance etc) in all locations (Asia, Australia, London, Amsterdam & New York).

- This role will work extremely close with the Management Reporting & Analytics team in Hong Kong on a daily basis. Currently the management reporting is done via Essbase (which is an excel add in), however we will be transitioning to a business intelligence style tool in late 2018.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the production of key daily, weekly and monthly management reports including but limited to:

- Country performance reports

- Business line profitability

- KPI dashboards and other metrics

- Board, EXCO and Management Committee reports

- Departmental cost analysis

- IT reporting

- Other ad-hoc reports as required by the Head of Regional Finance or CFO

- Conducting variance analysis and preparing meaningful commentary

- Understand the data and business processes within Finance for the purposes of generating relevant and accurate MI reports

- To actively look for automation and streamlining opportunities in report preparation and reporting data entry process.

- Involvement in the migration to using a business intelligence tool as the platform for management reporting

- To support MI data management

- Responsibility for running and understanding the monthly management cost allocations

Skills and Experience -

- Relevant background in Management Reporting and Analysis roles preferably with 4-8 years relevant experience

- Team player with the experience in interacting directly with offices in Asia

- Background in understanding business drivers and providing value add analysis

- Experience in interacting directly with business management

- Proficiency in use of computer applications (esp. MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-Powerpoint) and exposure to ERP systems such as SAP and Essbase

- Understanding of the various products Company operates in is an advantage

- Good command of written and spoken English

- Strong presentation skills in both written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

- Energetic and ambitious individual who rises to a challenge

- Work independently and use initiative to drive change

Educational / Professional Qualifications - University graduate or above in Accounting or Finance related disciplines


Salary Offered : 15 - 20 LPA
