As a part of the Communications & Media practice, you will help develop value growth strategies for clients across industries, such as Communications, Media and Entertainment. From multi-year major systems integration transformation deals to shorter more agile engagements, A rapidly expanding portfolio of hyper-growth clients and an increasing footprint with next-gen technology and industry practices.
Lead complex large scale media and entertainment (M&E) professional services engagements with partners and clients in OTT, film, animation, broadcast, music, games, digital and visual effects industries.
Client Engagement & Development
Incumbent will lead engagements for Media & Entertainment clients. These engagements include helping clients develop corporate strategies, make strategic M&A decisions, structure effective business and operating models, and transform their businesses - all in an effort to grow their business while maintaining or reducing costs. Content & Promotional Optimization: Navigation path between touchpoints and their reach and importance by country.
Assist our clients to build the required capabilities for growth and innovation to sustain high performance.
- Identify, assess and solve complex business problems. Nurture partnerships and relations across media ecosystem globally in key focus areas to building knowledge and networks and establish thought leadership.
- Participate actively across professional forums and industry networks. Develop wide and deep connections across existing and potential client accounts.
Create a strong market positioning by increasing the company's visibility, credibility and mindshare across media ecosystem such as product companies, influencers and analysts.
Plays a significant role in identifying new strategy consulting opportunities with our clients, shaping proposals, and gaining client agreement/approval to move forward
- Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of our clients' strategic/organizational objectives
- Leads strategy engagements; Synthesizes numerous analytic efforts to draw meaningful conclusions, identify implications for recommendations, and achieve client buy-in
- Frequent interaction with senior management levels at a client and/or within the firm, which involves presenting analysis and recommendations, facilitating workshops, and negotiating or influencing on significant matters
- Develops and maintain strong trust-based relationships with clients
- Managing activities and deliverables against plan, reviewing draft output, and providing feedback/coaching to project team members
- Assesses and manages risks and issues, ultimately ensuring that project objectives are achieved.
- People Development:
- Develop a team of professionals to enable growth
- Perform role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the firm's staffing process, and actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities
Professional qualifications":
- 10+ years of experience in Strategy, Management consulting roles
- Should have worked in the Media, Entertainment, OTT space
- Should have excellent customer facing capabilities, and established track record for selling & delivering consulting engagements
- The individual must be comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the "C" level executives
- Should have managed teams and delivery and possess strong program management skills
Domain knowledge:
- Supervising business diagnosis and planning activities.
- Analyzing and assuring quality of the data collected.
- Assisting in formulating the specific solutions to address prioritized gaps.
- Supervising business architecture and process design activities.
- Assisting in the development of capabilities and performance measurements/KPIs.
- Supervising business architecture implementation activities.
- Defining testing and implementation activities for architectures, capabilities and processes.
- Developing and testing business processes, capabilities, and architectures.
- Preparing the client for deployment (communications, training).
Educational qualification
MBA from Tier 1 University with an excellent academic background
Professional Development Skills :
- Strong Product Management Skills
- Prior experience in a Consulting firm will be preferred.
- Experience working with "C" level executive clients
