Management Accountant India

1. Oversee AP and AR ledger management.

2. Treasury reporting and bank reconciliations.

3. Support monthly client revenue recognition and verification process as well as work with the management team to produce financial forecasts.

4. Manage month-end closes and ensure that deadlines are met, ensuring that the ‘Europe & IMEA close schedule’ is followed, all month end Dynamics processes are run and signed off and that a monthly managements file is produced containing all supporting documentation. Produce draft P&L’s & Balance Sheets timely and accurately.

5. Analyze client performance for efficiency and profitability, and make recommendations to regional management and to client and project leaders on ways to improve profitability and efficient operations.

7. Coordinate the preparation of all required tax returns for indirect taxation, payroll, with-holding, corporate income taxes and other regional taxes.

8. Managing local banking relationships. Ensure company policy related to signature levels is being complied with.

9. Processing of all staff expense claims.

10. Collaborate with project managers and Finance colleagues to address issues pertaining to accounts receivable, accounts payable and contract management.

11. Fixed asset ledger management.

12. Ad hoc analysis as required.

Qualified CA or MBA in finance. Will also have responsibility for statutory accounting matters. Thus, a higher priority will be given to candidates with strong technical accounting backgrounds.

Experience: Eight to ten (8-10) years of experience within a professional services environment, preferably within a management consultancy or top 4 consulting firms or alike. Also necessary are strong Excel skills coupled with proficiency in MS Office applications. Exposure to MS Dynamics would be a significant advantage.

Knowledge of of Local GAAP (where applicable), US GAAP and IFRS is mandatory and also exposure to Research & Financial Analysis
