Manage - Product Marketing for Tokyo, (Japan) Based company | Cloud robotics platform | Bangalore
As a Product Marketing Manager:
- You will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for our cloud robotics platform
- You will craft the messaging and positioning for products.
- You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand.
- Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.
- You will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to do the sales enablement.
- You will be responsible for executing flawless product launches by working with teams across the company including Product, Sales, and Engineering.
- You will be developing collateral and training materials that bring the product positioning to life with compelling narratives that are grounded in customer stories.
Key responsibilities:Non-Negotiable:- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market.
- Positioning expert: You have a knack for articulating the essence of products and why they matter. You can develop an effective content strategy.
- Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products.
- Market intelligence - be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to outsmart them.
- Top-notch at market research: You know your market, customers, and competition, and you- re strong at bringing this information into your marketing strategies.
Negotiable:
- Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products.
- Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
Requirements:
- Around 5 years of software product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a Customer facing role.
- Preferred Educational qualifications: Technical Bachelors + Masters in Business/ Strong business experience.
- Very strong written communication skills.
- Management skills to interact with cross-functional teams, and third parties.
- Tech (Software/Hardware) background - ability to communicate technology and relate to business solutions.
- Great presentation and analytical skills.
- Experience with platform play and/or B2B products highly valued and definite plus
