Mama Mia India - City Operations Manager


Job brief :


- We are looking for a City Operations Manager to supervise all our outlets within a city.


- You will be responsible to tap into the business potential for the region and to support the marketing team in creating brand-building initiatives that increase customer footfall in the stores.


- You will play a key role in business development: you will find and finalize locations for new outlets, filter leads for new franchise enquiries, and ensure that each store is getting adequate support to maintain sales targets. You must be able to think quickly on your feet and be an all round problem solver.

Key Responsibilities :

- Store Operations

- Carry out quality checks for each store, monitor operations and ensure compliance with SOPs, stock management, housekeeping and staff attendance and management. Suggest improvements to the process as and when required.

- Find leads for new outlet locations, create launch plans for new outlets and supervise and monitor new outlet performance with required handholding for the initial 2 months.

- Conduct regular audits of each outlet within your city to ensure consistent performance and service standards.

- Manage a good relationship with franchisees in your city and troubleshoot any problems that may arise. Be proficient with conflict management.

- Understand customer needs by monitoring purchase patterns and suggest methods for improving customer service. Develop a rapport with top customers and ensure long-term relationships with them.

- Hire and train staff for each outlet in your city. Carry out periodic QC checks with staff and ensure operations are to the highest standard. Set weekly sales target for each outlet and recommend staff promotions to management. Identify any problems with the staff and report to HR.

- Must have an understanding of online aggregators. You will be responsible for handling any issues with Swiggy, UberEats, Zomato and other online partners.

- Deliver on-ground sales experience indicators to the marketing team and support them in creating new promotions to increase sales.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements :

- Proven work experience as a manager of a store/retail outlet

- Excellent communication skills

- Hands- on experience in dealing with and training staff

- Demonstrated leadership abilities

- Minimum high school degree is a must. Graduates will be given preference.
