We are looking for an Accounting Manager for our Finance & Accounting team to manage the month-end and annual close and consolidation process for the company.

The ideal candidate should have 8+ years' solid experience of finance and accounting process.

This role will be primarily responsible for managing our clients monthly accounting close and consolidation process such as journal entries, payroll and deductions, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing & recording revenue, reconciling bank, cash, balance sheet accounts, fixed assets/prepaid expenses, and preparation of financial reporting of P&L, BS, Cash Flows.

This role will have the opportunity to create and drive standards across the business, to develop processes and procedures and to create efficiencies where possible as we look to scale the business in the U.S and India.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage company engagements including work plans, staffing, deadlines.

- Manage company monthly accounting close and consolidation process such as journal entries, payroll and deductions, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing & recording revenue, reconciling bank, cash, balance sheet accounts, fixed assets/prepaid expenses, and preparation of financial reporting of P&L, BS, Cash Flows.

- Responsible for the delivery monthly and annual financial statements and other schedules.

- Support company accounting system implementation projects.

- Liaise with outside firms for audit and tax matters.

- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, controls, policies and principles.

- Proactive in identifying client needs and effective in building a strong relationship with clients.

- Maintain performance reporting (KPI's) and ensure targets are successfully delivered.

- Manage, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews.

- Complete ad hoc projects, as necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in public accounting and/or private industry accounting/finance.

- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.

- Undergraduate degree in accounting/commerce, CA required with solid accounting consulting experience.

- MS/MBA is a plus.

- Strong technical skills and a working knowledge of U. GAAP and SEC reporting.

- Experience with research & documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards (i.- ASC 842, ASC 606).

- Knowledge of cloud technologies and accounting systems, experience with Workday is a plus.

- Strong background in FP&A is a plus.

- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to set overall engagement expectations and direction.

- Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities.

- Ability to build, maintain, and manage client relationships.

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiar with Google Cloud and various business software (e. ERP, CRM).

- Ability to support effectively multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects.
