Hiring for VP of Sales

Location: Hyderabad

Mode of Work: on Site.

General Job Purpose:

- The Vice President of Sales will lead the sales team to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the medical devices and Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) sectors.

- This role requires a strategic leader with deep industry knowledge, a proven track record of sales leadership, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

- We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, systematically inclined candidate to join our growing team delivering sales.

- Makers Hive Innovations is seeking a VP of Sales with proven experience in Business development to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with customers.

- You will be the front face of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy to meet industry standards.

Reporting to: CEO

Job Responsibilities: Vice President of Sales - Preferred from Medical Devices / P&O sales.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

- Identify new market opportunities and define strategies to penetrate these markets.

- Lead the sales forecasting process and set performance goals accordingly.

- Develop CSR partnerships with corporates and NGOs towards sales growth

- Team Management:

- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.

- Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback.

- Customer Relationship Management:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.

- Oversee key negotiations and close major deals.

- Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

- Market Analysis:

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.

- Use market intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development.

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

- Sales Operations:

- Optimize the sales process and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Oversee the development of sales collateral, presentations, and proposals.

- Manage the sales budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

- Oversee the development of Medical Practitioners, Corporate Hospitals and Govt sales.

Qualifications:

- Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.

An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

- Experience:

- 15-18 years of progressive sales experience in the medical devices or prosthetics and orthotics industry.

- At least 10 years in a senior sales leadership role preferred from Medical devices & Prosthetics and Orthotics (P&O) sales background only.

- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.

- Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

- Deep understanding of the medical devices or P&O market, including regulatory requirements.
