Job Description

- Drafting & vetting of agreements- commercial, banking, supplier, customer, vendor, technology and overseas contracts.

- Negotiation of contracts with the opposite parties to discuss and resolve commercial and legal matters.

- Basic understanding of the finance & accounting concepts to help review of contracts and assess financial exposure.

- Exposure to agreements relating to investments, mergers and acquisitions will be preferred.

- IPR protection: In terms of appropriate trademark, patent & copyright registrations, and litigations.

Qualification and requirements

- LLB from a good university with 8 + years of experience. Minimum 6 years should be in a corporate as in-house legal advisor.

- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

- Good inter personal skills and understanding of business contexts.

- Problem solving and creative approach towards situations, be it a IPR matter or a typical commercial contract.
