ROLE OUTLINE :
Location: Gurgaon
Function: Hotel Revenue and Category
CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB (What is the reason that this job exists?) :
- Manage Revenue and P&L for his/her categories. Define strategic growth plan for the category along with end to end management of the same. In the process build, grow and leverage relationship with internal & external stakeholders.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (AOR) SUCCESS INDICATORS :
- Understand & implement action plan based on industry trend, competitive landscape, customer behaviour and market movement.
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance and growth of their categories on a weekly and monthly basis with all stakeholders.
- Identify market share & penetration. Design & implement ways to increase same through new/existing product offering
- Adherence to growth plan
- Maximization of revenue
- Discover & action on new revenue optimization areas
- Follow a stringent action plan to optimize operational costs for respective categories
- Work with cross functional teams esp. marketing & supply to lead traffic growth, conversion and additional revenue for each category
- Lead development of comprehensive product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
- Stay connected with customers. Deep dive and analyse customer behaviour, customer feedback, user sessions, focus group discussions, online surveys, in-person interviews and come up with actionable insights
- Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning
- To work with relevant stakeholders- viz. Marketing, Sales, Technology, Operations, Finance on diverse initiatives ranging from operational improvement, website/app feature improvements, adoption of supplier services, channel mix optimization, customer services and more
- Responsible for evangelizing strategic vision of business across teams, defining shared goals and enabling mechanisms to drive cross-functional initiatives and delivering strong and consistent results
- Successful candidates in this role must have relentless customer obsession, data driven Customer satisfaction Score
- Successful launch of customer centric features to optimize revenue
- Overall team engagement decision making, excellent business judgment, the ability to plan and prioritize, ability to inspire and lead cross-functional initiatives and teams, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and strong first principles (common sense).

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors in Engineering/IT. BA/BSc/B. Com from top institutes are also encouraged to apply. MBA preferred.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE :
- Past experience in ecommerce category management role will be preferred
- Exposure to product management or digital marketing roles will be a great plus
