About the Function:
Ingo MMT product works on creating high positive impact for Hotels & Alternative
Accommodation businesses by solving user and hotelier/host problems across pre and post-sales in a complex multi-supplier setup. Some of the key focus areas are improving consumer experience and conversions, launching new user/hotelier/host propositions and improving available hotels/alt accommodation properties and their competitive pricing etc.
Responsibilities :
1. Tracking key business metrics daily and enabling the team to do so by preparing daily reports and automated dashboard in Redash
2. Creating rich interactive data visualizations through data interpretation & integrating various data sources
3. Proactively analyzing data using statistical methods to derive emerging customer or business trends/patterns, thus identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
4. Owning up integrity of operational reports and taking needful actions to fix emerging issues in representation or data
5. Acting upon the areas of improvement or key insights deriving, designing and implementing experiments - tweaking business levers - and tracking impact
6. Working with management to prioritize business and information needs
Qualification & Education : B.Tech/MBA from a reputed institute with 5 to 8 years of experience in data analytics (SQL & Advanced Excel), SAS & BI with Python or R Knowledge is good to have. Incumbents from e-commerce industry preferred.
Competencies Required :
1. 5 to 9 years of proven experience in data analysis / business analysis
2. Exposure to Google Analytics / Adobe Omniture/ SQL queries
3. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Advanced Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, Python, etc)
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
5. Familiarity with BI technologies
6. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
7. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
