We have an opportunity for a Mainframe Delivery Lead for one of our client.
Role : Mainframe Delivery Lead

Mainframe & AS400 Infra Delivery & Project Management:
- Own the Mainframe & iSeries Infra towers for all current customers supported & support new customer projects transitions from Plan, Define, Design, Deploy, migrate to Steady state and Manage the same. (AS is Take on- s, migrations, or new hosting assignments)
- Solutioning consultant for all prospective Mainframe & iSeries RFP's.
- Dedicated/Leveraged support model mapping to client environment.
- Ownership of proposals/Statement of work (SOW) for the accounts.
- Cost model optimization by ensuring right mix of L1/L2/L3 resources and Onsite resources to maximizing gross margins.
- Day to Day delivery management for Mainframe, AS400 operations for all clients.
- Experience in managing multiple clients/multiple migrations to ensure smooth turnover between India and client/account Datacenter Staff.
- Proven ability to deliver innovative solutions that fully supports corporate growth objectives.
- Program manage mainframe migration & transformation projects, with critical timelines across global locations and regions.
Migrations, Transformation & Hosting Management :
- Manage hiring, infrastructure (seat, voice, desktop) setups, tools migration, knowledge transfer, parallel phases and after care.
- Projects ranging across Mainframe & AS400 server workload (Operations, L2 system administration, L3 engineering support, etc..).
- Mainframe Engineering projects on different capabilities (Z/OS, Storage, CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ, Mainframe Automation and connect direct).
- Manage current head count of ~80 FTE and assist in growing all accounts
Mainframe Engineering :
- Responsible for managing the capability for Mainframe system programming support team (MVS/DB2/CICS/IMS MQ/NETWORKS/AUTOMATION)
- Own Incident, Change, Problem management for clients across regions
- Own Proactive problem management initiatives and drive SIP's across the tower.
- Resource Management - Work with multiple Geo executives to plan for business growth and planning resource availability.
- Mainframe COE and developing L2/L3/L4 resources for new demands.
- Own and manage Weekly and Monthly status calls with various GEO stake holders about Delivery issues/SLA management.
- Risk mitigation plans, Business continuity plans, disaster recovery, back up plans preparation and deployment.
- Management, functional, business and technical support to meet project dead lines, SLA's and KPI.
- Single point of contact for Mainframe and AS400 delivery issues, Escalations and deliverables.
- Transition/Engagement/Hiring- Establish process to ensure sustainable business growth in Mainframe & AS400 business Unit.
- Own Strategic decisions made to show cost saving benefits to tower, Account and customers (Optimization of pyramid, Productivity saving on project hours support by BAU staff, etc..)
