Position - Manager - Part development & Sourcing _ Applitrac

Reports To - DGM - Sourcing & PSM_AppliTrac

Place of Posting - Mohali (May be transferrable)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverable

- Evaluation & finalization of right suppliers for Products / Parts

- Products / Parts Development & Procurement

- Tooling Planning & Establishment at Supplier’s End

- Ensure adherence to Quality, Cost and Delivery targets of Products.

- Ensure process / actions to improve the Sourcing & Supply Chain process effectiveness

- Costing, Negotiation & Price finalization

- Target Costing: Ensure scientific and systematic ways of Product / Component costing

- Regular Procurement: Proactively initiate actions to prevent bottlenecks at the supplier end.

- Inventory Management: Ensure effective inventory management system, ensure no shortage of parts

- Quality Assurance, Inspection & PPAP closure

- Drive Value Engineering Projects for cost effectiveness

- Finalizing Supplier Agreements & Contracts

- Liaison with all suppliers / Logistics - related Transporters

- Ensure schedule adherence of all suppliers

- Watch on Commodity price movement in the market

- Capacity Planning / SOB monitoring

- Supplier Relationship Management

- Focus on reducing Total Cost of Ownership for each Product."

Experience - Engineering graduate with about 10 to 12 years experience in a reputed automobile / 2 wheeler / FMCG company

Industry Preferred - 2 Wheeler / Automobile / FMCG / Tractor Industry

Qualification - Engineering graduate (Post graduation in Materials Management is preferred)
