Mahindra & Mahindra - Manager - Legal - LLM/LLB

- Providing a comprehensive and high quality in-house legal service, across a broad range of legal issues to internal customers within the organization

- Ensuring all customer activities are in line with legal requirements and meets specifications within the organization and risks are mitigated appropriately.

- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal customers (business leaders),

- Promoting the value of the legal function for Tractor business of Mahindra for contract drafting, negotiation and closure, advisory.

- Preparation and negotiation of contracts, and leading in managing and resolving contractual disputes and other contentious issues, to a satisfactory conclusion, if they occur. Drafting / vetting Legal Notices for trademark/domain name infringement

- Handling Domain Name related disputes (WIPO complaint etc.)

- Advising business on Brand adoption and trademark registration in India and foreign countries

- Responding to business queries relating to various issues relating to Trademarks, Domain Names, Copyrights and other IPRs

- Drafting / vetting IPR related clauses in various Distributor/ Dealer/Vendor, Franchisee, Technical Collaboration Agreements

- Drafting / vetting Website terms & conditions/privacy policy; Advising business on queries relating to Information Technology Act

- Reviewing / vetting / drafting IPR agreements (Technology License/ Trademark or Domain Names License / Assignment Deeds/Software License Agreement)

- Qualified lawyer - LLM/LLB.

- Experience of working as a legal practitioner for 8 to 10 years.

- Experience as an in-house lawyer or similar position.
