Manager - Group Legal Services - AS

Key responsibilities include :

- Providing Legal Services to Businesses.

- Providing a comprehensive and high quality in-house legal service, across a broad range of legal issues to internal customers within the organization.

- Drafting and negotiation of contracts, management of contractual disputes and efforts for resolution of the same.

- Management and resolution of other contentious issues, to a satisfactory conclusion, whenever they occur.

- Detailed, in-depth analysis of legal documents and of work situations that have a legal dimension.

- Ensuring all customer activities are in line with legal requirements and meets specifications within the organization and risks are mitigated appropriately.

Proactive engagement with business teams to :

- Identification of the issues while advising and then introducing processes and monitoring mechanism.

- Developing and implementing best practices from other similar industries, organize and conduct awareness sessions etc.

- Handling Pre-Litigation matters.

- Handle dealer issues, pre-litigation customer issues and other legal issues pertaining to various Area Offices / Zonal Offices of the Company.

- Qualified lawyer - LLM/LLB.

- Experience of working as a legal practitioner for 3 - 5 years.

- Experience - Experience as an in-house lawyer or similar position.

- Sound working knowledge of Indian business environment and related legalities.

- Auto Industry Experience of around 2-3 years"
