Mahindra & Mahindra - Finance Role - Business Partnerships

1. Business Partnership

- Drive timely billing, collections, payments to vendors and monitoring of outstanding for the business verticals. Engage with business leads to ensure GST input credit of vendor partners is timely availed.

- Drive financial planning, budgeting & forecasting, cost accounting, cash flow management, incentive planning for the organization.

- Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.

- Collaborate with business units to develop financial plans and budgets that align with operational goals.

2. Financial Reporting and Analysis

- Develop mechanism to ensure that financial reporting info is integrated with business database. Partnering with IT team to develop integration of database with SAP.

- Responsible for monitoring, reporting and forecasting business financial viz volumes, revenue, EBITDA, ROCE, BEP by analyzing budget assumptions v/s actual trends for discussion/debate to senior management and to take timely corrective actions/plans to achieve the objectives.

- Conduct regular financial reviews with business units to assess performance against budgets and forecasts.

3. Risk Management and Compliance

- Responsible to drive business risk management process and manage corporate governance process.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with business activities in liaison with Risk and Audit teams.

- Expected to understand ever evolving expectations and requirements of internal and external auditors and based on the same facilitate development and implementation of a robust information management system to cater to all data needs.

4. Process Improvement

- Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to support financial analysis and reporting.

- Leverage COEs team expertise to drive financial automation, improve controls and overall financial health of the organization.
