Mahindra Logistics - DGM - Procurement

- Leading strategic sourcing and procurement function.

- Procurement management which includes real estate procurement, Capex, Opex, consumables (MRO), IT / Non-IT related/admin procurement.

- All contracts should be properly executed, considering all cost variables.

- Devise methods for the management on Purchase performance, cost savings, purchase standardisation across sites & overall performance vis-a-vis budgeted on a monthly, quarterly & yearly basis

- Ensure that the manuals are updated & upgraded for information.

- To ensure the internal stakeholders has requisite information on material / service delivery, led time, quality aspects, etc. to take internal customer's feedback on the above mentioned aspects.

- Managing and controlling all the company's external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of Materials and logistic services.

- Exploring new ideas and concepts for cost saving by means of outsourcing, optimised packing, reducing freight cost.

- Vendor development in domestic market, which includes selecting the right vendor, quality establishment, finalising all the commercial terms & conditions & contracting for long term, either with a fixed or variable price, after working out the market dynamics & benefits

- Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company's needs.

- Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down external spends.

- To carry out a comprehensive review of the Purchasing function and its methodology and identify and implement improvements.
