Deputy General Manager - Lead Quality & Audit


Job Description:


- Create end to end Quality Management system ( Quality Planning, Quality Control, Quality Improvement ) for driving Company objectives across Value chain and execution of Company strategy to drive highest level of Customer Satisfaction

- Institutionalizing Quality Management system ( Encompassing Incoming, In process & Outgoing quality ) & Quality Index parameters for Business Partners ( Transporters, Manpower service providers etc ) and driving higher levels of Service Quality performance

- Defining Long term Service Quality Vision, Road Map, Goals and strategic Initiatives inline with Company Vision, Goals and Strategy. Ensuring deployment of the Service Quality goals across key stakeholders through Policy Management and SP SI, FP FI Approach

- On boarding business teams on the Quality Management objectives, TMW (TQM ) goals, initiatives across the organization to implement the Service Differention strategy, Continuous Improvement approach and deliver enhanced value to customer to drive Business growth

- Driving PDCA culture across all levels in the organization and establish the organization as an highly Customer centric organization in the industry

- Drive holistic improvements across all the Management, key business processes & Mahindra Groups Common Policies & Practices ( GCPP ) under the TMW framework at MLL by ensuring Total employee involvement. Lead the organization in the internal and external assessments through Customer or Mahindra Group

- Ensure compliance in the MLL operations and Service delivery standards of Business partners through an system of internal audits and compliance procedures

- Deliver higher levels of maturity on the Mahindra Groups Business Excellence model, TMW framework and maintain IMS end to end in line with MLL's Quality management system.

- Build competency in the org on Lean Six Sigma Approach and ensure implementation of the Service Quality road map through Process improvement activities Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Circle, Kaizen, TPM, TQM etc and tools like APQP, FMEA, HEP, PPAP, SPC, 5S, KAIZEN,POKA YOKE, 7 QC tools, product/process audit,LIFT (layout inspection &functional testing), PDCA, 8D, quality circles, Hypothesis testing, fact based decision making with Data etc

- Sound Knowledge about the operations in 3PL industry (Transportation, Warehouse and Stores & Linefeed activities), operating processes, productivity metrics and cost levers for driving improvements

- In-depth expertise in Quality planning, Quality Control & Quality improvement initiatives a MUST. Should have understanding on P&L management & Improvement for WH, Inplant logistics and Transport operations

- Must be conversant with Service Quality parameters for Warehouse & Stores Linefeed, Transport operations
