Job Overview:
The Senior Manager will lead functional tasks and activities of the team. She/he will increase the strength of the portfolio, streamline development activities to remain aligned with the goal and enhance brand visibility and increase awareness about the hotel/resort assets.
Job Description:
S. No. Accountabilities:
1. The Senior Manager will be required to manage a defined region to grow the resort network through various models, including Lease, Acquisition, Inventory Arrangement, etc. He/she will handle key owner relationships, deal negotiations etc.
2. Have strong sourcing capabilities for resorts/ hotels and have a network of industry intermediaries, brokers, real estate companies and developers. Interface with external parties, property owners including property consultants, lawyers etc.
3. Negotiate Agreements for various models, including Lease, Acquisition, Inventory Arrangement, etc with owners and other external stakeholder
4. Work with the Vice President of Development and the COO (Hotels) to define the country/region growth and development strategy.
5. Actively give inputs on key concept, design & project brief, cost estimation and budgeting activities for projects.
6. Coordination with owners of associate resorts for upgradation of the property so as to maintain high PHF scores. Owner relationship management.
7. Responsible for the overall achievement of annual targets for the vertical as prescribed by the Board.
8. Analyse, evaluate, and rank overall risk exposure, including technical, financial, and human resources. Develop and actively participate in the risk mitigation measures to ensure that the business cases are secured to meet profit and turnover targets.
9. Contract Management: Onboarding of a Leased Resort:
a. Follow-up on upgrade plan of newly leased resorts once the agreement is signed
b. Coordination with all stakeholders, including projects, the property owner and
Capability & Competencies:
The ideal candidate must have:
1) Master's in Business Administration or other post-graduate degrees in finance or accounting
2) 8+ years of experience in areas such as real estate acquisition or leasing, IPC, private equity, management consulting, and real estate development
3) Team management and presentation skills. Expertise in financial modelling and analysis.
4) Experience in hotels and hospitality will be an advantage.
