Education & Experience details : Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum experience of 3-5 years in Finance & Accounts

Location : Currently Based in Chennai and the role is likely to be moved to Mumbai in Q2 FY18. Candidate should be willing for relocation

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Hands on experience in preparation and finalization of Standalone and consolidated financial statements.

- Preparation and presentation of financial statements along with analysis, related party statements, annual report, etc.

- Coordinating and supporting the statutory and internal auditors in quarter/year end audits and handling the queries

- Knowledge in IND AS reporting, Hyperion and XBRL compliances is an added advantage

- Knowledge in accounting standards and presentation of financial statements

- Periodic review of Trail Balance and support in month end closure activities within the timelines

- Take the lead on investigations of complex/exceptional cases and work with an eye on developing effective solutions

- Identify challenges and process improvement opportunities, and implement solutions

Core Technical Knowledge and Skills :

- Understanding of and work experience in accounting operations using SAP software, preferably SAP FI modules.

- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technology quickly and effectively

- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, such as Excel, Word and Power Point

- Ability to quickly analyse accounting data structures and data inter-relationships and make recommendations on process, system and control improvements

- Excellent judgement and strong communication skills with the ability to prepare, present, and discuss findings verbally and in writing

- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and tactfully interact with staff at all levels

- Proven ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, and possess attention to detail
