Mahindra Comviva - Product Management Role - Device/Handset Financing - Yabx

About YABX:

Yabx is a global FinTech venture of Mahindra Comviva aimed at simplifying financial access to the 2 Bn+ under-banked people in the emerging markets of Africa, Asia, and Latin America. We use technology and analytics to reduce the cost of delivering financial services. Yabx helps the unbanked get access to Credit solutions by creating a custom credit score based on their usage of their mobile phones. Based on this Credit score we enable operators to offer multiple solutions to their customers .

About Product:

Device Financing - One of the Key solutions we offer to the end customers is the opportunity to buy devices on loans. Yabx works with mobile operators, banks, OEMs, Retail chains in multiple markets to enable these customers access to loans to buy devices based on custom Credit score developed by us. Besides this the candidate should have some exposure to running Airtime Credit with a Telco or a vendor.

Roles and Responsibilities

Functional:

- At least 5+ years of prior product management experience

- Exposure to working with Telco/OEM on driving data penetration and Devices penetration in the Mass market

- Managing and driving business and revenues independently

- Experience in building and driving partnerships for driving business

- In depth understanding of the Retail market and selling products through traditional channels

- Experience in working on the ground in driving business

- Demonstrated ability to use data to drive critical results

- Experience managing P&L will be an added advantage

- CVM experience and understanding of the postpaid business will be an added advantage

- Prior experience in Wallet and Merchant Onboarding would be an advantage
