1. The incumbent would be responsible for complete management of the P&L for the oral care category.
2. The incumbent would be the custodian for the category across all mediums - traditional trade & digital. The organization has a digital first approach so exposure to the D2C ecosystem would be a pre-requisite alongside sound knowledge of traditional trade.
3. Ability to liase with various stakeholders in the system in order to develop a winning proposition
4. Work closely with agencies for developing and launching initiatives and programmers to strengthen brand positioning, overcome competitor challenges, drive awareness, repeat etc.
5. Knowledge of performance marketing across google Fb & marketplaces would be a huge plus
6. Conceptualize, develop, and launch NPDs & extensions by collaborating with various stakeholders and cross functional teams. The incumbent should have a keen eye for trends spanning the category and have a strong consumer orientation, helping mine insights, translate them into compelling concepts and consequently NPDs.
7. Monitor brand health through conversion/adoption, repeat, recency, CLTV etc. Demonstrate excellent understanding of full marketing mix, latest trends and digital marketing best practices.
8. Be the voice of the customer in the organization and look at continuously optimizing product proposition aimed at bridging the gap between customer expectation and offerings
9. Co-lead the thinking on overall brand strategy, go to market approach with the performance marketing and marketplaces team. Own brand communication across all sales channels.
10. Lead business planning: through analyzing macro environment trends, consumer behavior, internal business imperatives etc.
11. Leverage brand advocates by creating a regular communication channel, create loyal customers, build equity of the mother brand as well as drive positioning and adoption of sub-brands
12. Provide direction to the internal teams (content, designers), cross functional teams, as well as external partners (performance, activation, creative)
What will you need to succeed:
1. MBA, 5+ years proven experience in handling of brands that have a digital 1st approach in similar categories (FMCG, Ayurvedic products)
2. Strategic thinking with knack for implementation / Entrepreneurship ability
3. In-depth knowledge of digital category marketing including brand building, content distribution, commercial acumen,
4. Go getter attitude, data orientation, good logical reasoning, strong communication skills with attention to detail, follow-up and organizational skills
5. Self-Motivated, Action Oriented, Drive for results along with strong business planning, functional and technical skills
6. MBA from a tier-2 college
