State Sales Manager - SME ( Senior Manager/Manager)
Responsibility :
- Plans and prepare strategy to achieve sales targets & 100% productivity levels for the assigned Location.
- Align with plans and strategy of Zonal Head to understand and translate the same from a State perspective.
- Provide state information and data as and when required to the zonal Head.
- Work closely with Managers and Sales executives on driving the sales, identifying new opportunities and building the Magma brand in the state.
- Drive a high performance and customer driven culture within the state to ensure greater accountability and ownership of the team.
- Visit various branches within assigned Zone to understand performance, issues, achievements and good practices. Ensure greater collaboration within and between branches for sharing information and best practices.
- Put in place a system of monitoring for identifying, developing and engaging dealer/channel partners,Visit dealers and understand opportunities to collaborate better.
- Act as a state escalation point for critical and key issues, Engage Branch Heads and executives on problem resolution.
- Recruit, Manage, Engage and Develop team members within the state. Provide coaching support to Branch Heads and also building their - Branch Manager Capabilities. Review performance of staff frequently and encourage members to participate in L&D programmes conducted in the Zone.
- Work closely with other teams - Operations, Credit, Finance, FI etc to ensure intra function working is seamless for the sales team.
- Lead brand building efforts for the state including road shows, campaigns etc
- Conduct annual sales planning meet for the state. Reinforce priority areas for the year and co-create solutions with the team to address challenges.
- Manage key accounts for the state to ensure the relationship is maintained.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills :
- A graduate with minimum 8 years (for Manager) and 10 years (for Sr. Managers) in SME Sales or financing for SME sector.
- Leadership skills to manage a team of Managers and Sales Executives in terms of driving sales and performance culture. Ability to guide and rally the team is essential and managing various stakeholders.
- Well versed with products and good understanding of local market in terms of SME customers, dealers etc
- Strong skills in selling, negotiations and communication.
