Job Purpose
The Product manager/Senior Product Manager is responsible for setting a products strategy and execution. S/he is the person responsible for defining the product flow, UX, design and tech features, as well as coordinating the release process and all of the activities required to bring the product to market. This involves bridging gaps between different functions within the company and aligning all of the teams involved namely marketing, sales, and customer support. The person will also be responsible for making sure that the right steps are taken (including go to market plan, growth and revenue drivers, NPS drivers, etc.) to make sure that the product meets its targeted objectives.
What will you deliver?
- Internalize and deeply understand the mission and strategies for Magicbricks as well as for the specific team / product, to drive strategic innovation and generate new product ideas.
- Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle, including problem definition, product strategy/roadmap, customer & driver needs, requirement/use case definition, product flow, UX, design and tech features.
- Ensure that the product meets its targeted objectives after launch including the go to market strategy and execution, revenue and growth management and ensuring positive customer experience.
- Gather insights from across teams within the organization and conduct external research and usability studies to understand how customers are interacting with the product and develop enhancements based on the results/analysis.
- Continuously improve existing products and features to drive higher conversion or engagement.
What you should be known for
- 3 - 9 years of product management experience post Regular MBA in a Consumer Internet/B2C/Fintech set-up. B.Tech + Full time MBA from Premium Institutes only.
- Experience in scaling current business and launching new verticals.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech background with a good understanding of data, metrics and building models is preferred.
- Product grasp - capable of taking business metrics, breaking them into investment areas, and leading thought in these areas.
