Job purpose :

- Home loans is a core focus area for Magicbricks, with very high growth potential. The Operations Head for Home Loans will be responsible for driving business growth for the business end-to-end.


- S/he will be responsible for setting up mechanisms for generating leads from different online / offline sources in conjunction with the product team, head the tele-calling operations for those leads and leading a team of on-ground executives across most major cities to fulfil the home loan requirements of customers through various banks / NBFCs.


- Overall, this role will handle the complete P&L responsibility for the business - topline, bottomline and customer satisfaction metrics.

Key responsibilities :

- Driving the strategic direction as well as business delivery for HL fulfilment business for Magicbricks

- Responsible for monthly / quarterly / annual business performance - topline (revenues), bottomline (costs and margins) and customer satisfaction.

- Responsibility for the entire Lead to Disbursement funnel and operational efficiency

- Generating internal/external sources of leads

- Managing a team of Tele Callers and Field Executives

- Ensuring fulfilment of user requirements right up to disbursals 


- Setting up processes to identify the right banks, login mechanisms, documentation for high success rates

- Liaison with major banks / NBFCs to increase business with them

- Opening up new business avenues - new cities and segments

- Hiring and team building

Key skillsets :

- In-depth understanding of the mortgage space in India (home loans, balance transfers, loan against property), domain knowledge of key players and practices

- Hands on experience in running and managing a team of tele-callers / on-ground executives

- Strong operational leadership 


- Ability to execute the day to day goals, leading teams effectively in a complex environment and with optimal cost structure.

- Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.

- Passion for Results : High degree of commitment with bias for execution excellence

- Strong team player, with high self-confidence and dynamism.

Experience : 10 to 15 Years

Qualification : MBA from a Tier-1 institute
