Job Description - Product Analyst
Functional Responsibilities :
- Ensure execution of end-to-end process of data analytics (including data mining, data collection / processing / cleansing / verification on integrity of data used for analysis, and statistical analysis) and operationalization with technology / vendor solutions
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL coupled with a knowledge of programming languages like python, statistical packages, and Business Intelligence tools like Tableau will be preferred.
- Deep understanding of marketing analytics that includes attribution models, campaign tracking (social, sem, seo, android play store, iOS), deep linking, deferred deep linking is a must.
- Ability to present a story with data along with business recommendations after thorough analysis of business critical metrics.
- Support business to develop relevant goals, events, funnels leveraging digital analytics tools to monitor and improve digital business performance
- Develop road map for specific analytics products & solutions and be accountable for the success of the products over their life cycle
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business users by understanding business and managing internal client expectations / business requirements
- Work with internal teams / partners / vendors to develop demonstrative projects that can showcase the potential of data-driven innovation
- Stay up-to-date on global developments in data usage, analytics and technologies and apply relevant developments to business
- Equip business users with rapid access to the information and analytics services they need to work more efficiently, make better informed business decisions and enable their business to become more competitive
Functional Competencies :
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, and able to present analysis in a manner accessible by non-statisticians through data visualization techniques
- Excellent knowledge of web analytics tool - Google Analytics & GA4
- Hands on experience with end to end data collection using Google Tag Manager
- Expertise in mapping KPIs and creating product dashboards using Excel and Tableau.
- Proficiency in MySQL and querying databases to compile, clean, and manipulate data
- Ability to refine business processes to drive Business Analytics and predictive applications
- Deep understanding of marketing analytics that includes attribution models, campaign tracking (social, sem, seo, android play store, iOS), deep linking, deferred deep linking is a must.
- Knowledgeable about macros and scripting in Excel
- Ability to run and analyze A/B tests.
- Passionate about Product analytics data and dashboards.
- Knowledgeable about the latest advancements in the field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- High proficiency in Microsoft office applications like Excel- including macros.
- Independent self-starter with ability to multitask and has a can-do attitude
