Key Responsibilities :

- The candidate will be responsible in conducting Category Management within the IT category as well as Professional Services, HR Services, Facility Management and Corporate Real Estate, Travel Management and General Category Management/Sourcing support along with handling supplier contracts from the very first supplier communication till final archiving and update of price catalogues in IT systems, making the contract available to your internal stakeholders.

- Implement sourcing projects and deliver on savings targets and provide value according to the business needs

- Ensure a strong project pipeline through proactive interaction and detailed value add proposals for each category area

- Ensure roll-out and implementation, hereunder update and maintain procurement IT systems

- Improve transparency on cost and spend within the Category portfolio

- Applying good negotiation skills, in line with the Maersk Tankers values.

What we are looking for :

An ideal candidate should come with a background as a Project Manager, Procurement Manager and Category Manager with experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, project management and category management within the specified categories.

- Naturally engages stakeholders and actively supervises expectations and test previous beliefs and traditions

- Experience from a category management position within IT or other indirect materials and services categories in an international company

- Hold the ability to bring several projects to successful conclusion at the same time

- Can work with limited supervision having personal motivation and a strategic mind-set

- Possess business knowledge with good English skills
