Migration Manager - Finance & Accounting
Purpose/Summary :
The Migration Manager is responsible for the overall success of the One Finance migration for the specific clusters he/she handles. The migration Manager will complete one migration and upon exit move on to the next one. Lead project teams of between 10 to 150 FTE's at the time and deal with the complexity of migrating collections, local VAT and TAX handling and ensuring effective migration/placement into the GSC together with the cluster finance operations manager, migration lead and site F&A process delivery lead.
Actively assist with the change management towards the local senior management and developing the scope to the extent possible (pushing the envelope).The position is a key to delivering a successful project execution of the One Finance project and related subprojects, being the key anchor point for the project to the respective cluster and being fully accountable for a successful execution of the project deliverables for the respective cluster in scope.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create the project plan for the respective cluster with the local project manager
- Prioritization of activities and resource alignment
- Stakeholder management with delivery management in the respective site
- Identify, escalate, manage and mitigate project specific risk for activities under his/her scope
- Work with Site HR to ensure that the adequate numbers of the required resources are recruited timely and a proper pipeline is in place.
- Effectively handle 1 clusters one finance project at the time
- Proactive assist the central project team with change management towards the cluster CFO
- Actively developing the off shoring scope aggressively (pushing the envelope).
- Involved in the recruitment/selection of the migration team (WS) together with the cluster finance operations manager
- Coordinating subprojects enabling one finance execution for the respective countries in the cluster
- Develop/coach/lead the Migration teams
- Preparing the respective GSC to handle the activities migrated
- Facilitate training/certification of the Migration teams
- Do onsite GEMBA for process/scope validation with the aim of everything is off shorable
- Responsible for handling/managing the activity migrated from migration to steady-state and consequent handover to the Cluster Finance Operations Manager in site within the agreed timeframe.
Skills Required :
- F&A university degree/MBA
- +5 years within F&A (experienced accountant/controller with ERP background)
- Project management skills and experience
- Experienced in leading bigger teams and/or complex activities
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience from handle high-end scope migrations and preferably lights out scenarios is preferred
- Previous experience in a 3rd party BPO handling similar activities is preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma training/experience
