Job overview - Purpose/summary :

PCO is responsible for ensuring business continuity and managing contingencies at GSC. Also, execute various BCMS activities in the process at a particular site such as carrying out BIA., RA. Conduct Work From Home [WFH] and Work Load Distribution (WLD) Tests, and subsequently publishing reports along with maintaining contact lists, Function Recovery Plan (FRP) etc.

- Contribute to Continual Improvement

Responsibilities :

- Ensure that the BCP documentation BIA/RA/Testing Reports/FRPs and other relevant documents are initiated and maintained as required. Criticality assessment records / Testing reports Dashboards to be available and updated at all times.

- The documentation has great dependency on during a contingency. The documentation hence should be precise with accurate details and should be available always IN ORDER TO- ensure that the downstream activities i.e tests and applicable recovery strategies in sync. Also to comply to the auditing requirement in both internal and external

- Work closely with TLs and ensure all the BCP activities ie WFH Tests and WLD Tests are carried out per schedule. Also Issues faced are highlighted through right channels and discussed with BCP Manager. Handle contingency by deploying right recovery strategy and program managing the resource allocation along with business teams In order to enable business ops on readiness with enhance resiliency for the unexpected contigencies

- Conduct BCP Testing on regular basis as per agreed frequency. in WFH Strategy the PCO is responsible for laptop/datacard allocation, scheduling, roster circulating and remediation of issues faced during WFH Tests

- In WLD, PCO needs to ensure that testing and training calendars are rolled out and testing is carried out per schedule at the respective GSC, also issues are addressed in time effectively In order to ensure that there is no exposure from BCP perspective and also critical staff is covered from WFH and WLD strategies for any contingency

- Both recovery strategies implemented needs to go through several maturity models.

- The PCO needs to work towards incorporating the current approach with refinements learnt during the implementation process. Suggest inputs where required to enhance the effectivity of the adopted recovery strategy as best suited in the GSC environment.
