Job Purpose
- Be responsible for assisting in contract development, maintenance, tracking, analysis, compliance and administration activities.
Sharing information on:
- Non-standard clauses
- Risk assessment as per standard response matrix
- Collect feedback and interact with SAL on contract clauses
- Interact with CENLAWLIN on clause risk assessment
- Ensuring a well-governed and diligent contracting process from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the CENLAW team and leadership in contract management/governance.
- Review and report obligations to ensure that responsibilities defined under the contract are met.
- Develop - eye to eye- relationship and engagement with internal stakeholders and implement process capability.
- Provide consistent and predictable high-quality service to business partners and end customers.
Required experience & skills
- LLB (Bachelors in Law).
- Perfect written and spoken English.
- Demonstrable and highly attuned skills in contract review and drafting (3+ years contracting experience).
- Previous experience within claims and shipping law a plus.
- Experience in a multinational corporation dealing with a variety of cultures.
- Experience in project management and/or system building preferred.
