Maersk - Global Business Continuity Planning Supervisor

BCP stands for Business Continuity Planning. Global BCP team maintains the Business Continuity Policies and Procedures, works with site and process functions on risk assessments, business impact analysis, recovery strategy implementation testing, planning for emergency response, coordinates for business continuity in live scenarios and share regular updates with stakeholders within company.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit the GSC BCMS plans and assess the contingency readiness in the GSC process level and site level.

Coordinate with Site and Process BCP Managers and take the BCP readiness / preparedness status at each site and process.

Coordinate with LMS team in the BCMS awareness training programs. Coordinate with various stakeholders to rollout the BCMS awareness program.

Work with Global BCP Manager on BCP manuals / Policy review and maintenance.

BCP team site (portal) maintenance, updating (as required).

Coordinate BIA exercise with the Process BCP Managers and make sure that all the processes have reviewed / completed the BIA.

Coordinate BCP tests and BCP audits on processes and site infrastructure to assess the compliance

Ensure contingency plans and test schedules are established for identified critical activities of GSC activities which include :

- Recovery Strategy documentation

- Contingency and related documents (post contingency reports, contacts, etc.)

- Measurements of contingency plan effectiveness

- IT related and local administrative requirements

Lead and coordinate with Site and Process BCP Managers on contingency plans and testing

Monitor the alerts /news and ensure communications are in place for advising all stakeholders of a critical situation that may have potential impact on the GSC operations

Conduct regular calls with Site and Process BCP Managers and take the status of risks and actions to plan for. Communicate and record MOMs and ensure the actions are completed within the defined timelines.

Who we are looking for-

Education: Graduate

Certified BCP professional with 3 to 5 years relevant experience

Should have done BCMS implementation

ISO 22301 certification / BS25999
