Chief Technology Officer - EdTech (15-20 yrs)

The Chief Technology Officer's role is to assure the successful execution of the company's business mission of connecting through development and deployment of the company's Mobile/Web presence. This requires envisioning the company's service offerings as a mobile-based online education delivery business, leading the implementation of mobile applications and planning for risk and growth.

Job Description :

1. Lead all technology initiatives of the company, manage the entire technology platform including strategic planning, development, and implementation.

2. Would be managing and guiding a team on the software development and engineering platforms. Will work closely with the business team on the technology initiatives

3. Responsible for the entire technology setup for the ed-tech business. Responsible for any technology initiatives for enabling better customer service. Responsible for ongoing support and other activities related to technology.

4. Responsible for finalizing the technology partner(s) and managing the relationships. Responsible for timely, within budget, and successful delivery of the technology solutions for the organization.

5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices.

6. Understand complex business requirements very quickly and architect solutions while paying attention to detail.Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications :

1. PG with B.Tech/BE, M.tech in Computer Science or equivalent field

2. Should have experience in mobility (Web and native apps), must have an intimate experience with native app development (Android, iOS), as well as experience developing products for the mobile web.

3. The candidate must have 10 years of experience managing Mobile/Web application development including mobile applications. Some prior experience in Ed-tech preferred but not mandatory

4. Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular Mobile/Web application framework. Familiar with more than one software development methodology. Knowledge of Mobile App Ecosystem i.e. Front End (IOS, Android, Windows) & Back END (Full Stack Development) is MUST

5. Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management. Knowledge of AWS ecosystem, DEVOPS and CYBER SECURITY is must

6. Familiarity with consumer privacy and payment industry compliance requirements. Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations.

9. Knowledge of all computer operating systems and mobile devices, including but not limited to Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS
