Macroeconomics Research Associate - Investment Bank

- We're looking for someone with an economics background to join our team

- You'll be developing strategies to enhance trading or sales opportunities for the business, and supporting the global economics desk with macro analytical frameworks, economic forecasts and research ideas

- This is a high-profile role that offers considerable exposure as well as the opportunity to make a significant impact

- Assisting with internal and external client requests, tracking macroeconomic data releases, and drafting global economic insights for indicators

- Analyzing macroeconomic data trends, events and the impact on financial markets

- Researching and writing periodic reports on global economic indicators and pertinent global themes

- Developing macroeconomic analytical and forecasting frameworks for the global economics team

- Taking all reasonable steps to ensure desk strategy activities are in line with Group policies covering conduct, operational, and regulatory risks

- Conducting macroeconomic indicator analysis for the relevant teams

- Managing projects and initiatives to improve processes
