Macroeconomic Researcher - Asset Management

We currently have an opening for a macroeconomics research analyst located in Bangalore. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and communicating information on macroeconomic and financial market developments in the major industrialized and developing economies. The position is highly visible, involving interactions with investment professionals, client-facing teams, clients and prospects.

Responsibilities include :

- Collate, organize, and analyze a wide range of macroeconomic data to develop viewpoints and forecasts around growth, inflation, and labor market trends.

- Monitor fiscal and monetary policy developments across a range of developed and emerging market economies.

- Maintain and develop macro presentation decks.

- Co-author the Weekly Economic perspective publication and contribute to broader macro thematic research efforts as required.

- Interact with different investment teams and client facing teams to broadcast key insights on macro-economic trends.

Applicants should have :

- Masters' degree in Economics preferred

- Demonstrated experience with macroeconomic data analysis and forecasting

- Excellent English written skills are critical

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Strong work ethic, self-motivated individual

- Knowledge of financial markets is helpful and preferred

- Knowledge of Macro Bond, Bloomberg, and Powerpoint are pluses.
