Machine Learning Professional - Consulting Firm

Major responsibilities:

Exhibit solid understanding of the ML algorithms - especially Regressions & Clustering/Classification

Use machine learning, data mining and statistical techniques to create new, scalable solutions for business problems.

Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of historical business data to help automate and optimize key processes

Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model validation and model implementation

Should have done Successful ML implementations (R or Python, preferably Python) in production and supported them for sometime.

Educational Qualifications & Preferred Expertise for this role :

Btech/MS in CS, Machine Learning, Operational research, Statistics or in a highly quantitative field from any of the top technical university

Min 6+ years of industrial experience as Technical Architect in Big data/Machine Learning specially in predictive modeling and analysis, predictive software development

Implemented ML algorithms

To understands some of the crucial algorithms like - regressions, random forest, SVM, gradient descent, decision tree, etc

Experience in using any of the following extensively - Python or R.

Experience in mentoring junior team members, and guiding them on machine learning and data modeling applications

Min 4+ years of industrial experience in predictive modeling and analysis, predictive software development

Experience handling gigabyte and terabyte size datasets

Experience working with retail or e-commerce data

Strong Problem solving ability

Experience working with distributed systems and grid computing

Publications or presentation in recognized Machine Learning and Data Mining journals/conferences

Strong communication and data presentation skills
