LUMIQ is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director to drive our business growth by focusing on named Priority 1 accounts. The successful candidate will take the lead in identifying opportunities and driving sales motions until the deal reaches the later stage, post which the CSP BD lead and alliance manager will be pulled in for joint efforts until closure. Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management:

- Drive business development initiatives for named Priority 1 accounts directly.

- Identify and target key decision-makers within the prospective accounts to build and maintain relationships.

- Develop tailored proposals and solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.

Collaboration with CSP BD Lead & Alliance Manager:

- Collaborate closely with the CSP BD lead and alliance manager once the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) is identified.

- Work jointly with the CSP BD lead in the later stages of the deal, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of strategies for successful closure.

- Foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to drive mutual growth.

Sales Motion & Deal Closure:

- Lead the sales motion for identified deals, navigating through the initial stages of client engagement and negotiations.

- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to advance the deal to the later stages.

- Ensure successful deal closure by addressing any challenges and aligning with client expectations.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify new business opportunities.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.

- Report on account progress, sales forecasts, and market insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Extensive experience in Business development- Technology or BFSI sector.

- Proven track record of driving sales and closing deals with named accounts.

- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Strong understanding of Cloud Service Providers and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
