Responsibilities and Duties :
- Provide technology consulting services to law firms and corporates in the domain of telecommunications and networking.
- Work in high stakes patent litigation and licensing in the field of 3G, 4G/LTE, 5G technologies, Wifi, Bluetooth, Switching/Routing protocols, Network security.
- Work closely with telecommunication and semiconductor reverse engineering labs to reverse engineering various aspects of core telecom infrastructure such as Core Network, Services, Mobile Apps, Handset platforms, IoT platforms, etc.
- Handle calls with US-based clients who include Industry Experts, Corporate Counsel, CEO, Startup founders, Professors, etc.
- Explain complex technical matters to non-technical audiences
- Lead teams conducting research & analysis, including but not limited to technology research, technology due diligence, market research, prior art searches, target scouting, invalidity analysis, infringement analysis and claim charting
- Understand underlying technologies to analyze telecom products/ features and help solve clients-core technical queries
- Work with product teams to guide development & testing of Lumenci's technology platforms
- Showcase technology and thought leadership via blogs and research reports.
- Collaborate across the organization in-person and with virtual, global teams
- Establish and cultivate relationships internally and externally
Expected Competencies/Skills :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical writing
- Proficiency in technical research
- Ability to think critically, learn fast and work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial and go-getter attitude.
Education and Experience :
- BTech/ M.Tech/MSc in Electronics, Communications, or Telecommunications from premier colleges. Masters in telecom from outside India are highly preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in relevant Tech industry e.g. Telecom, Networking and Cloud computing.
- Hands-on experience with all telecommunications systems including peripheral equipment (e.g.computer networks, optical fiber, on-site controllers, data modems, terminals, etc)
- Certification such as CTNS, CIPTS, CCNP, OCSA, JNCIE, and WCNA is preferred.
