Mandatory tech skills & experience (detailed) :

- Understands the concepts of project management, Project planning, Project monitoring and reporting to different stake holders, ability to drive meetings with client and business.

- Has expert knowledge of structured project management principles of SAP projects, knowledge of SAP ASAP methodology.

Key Responsibilities :

- Project coordination and team leadership for SAP Projects.

- Ensuring that all project activities are tracked to completion.

- The candidate is expected to have project management experience in at least one area like SAP Implementation or SAP Support or SAP Upgrade etc.

SAP Support :

- Ability to drive the support activities which includes task like incidents, change, release, time coverage, SLAs and general operational support.

- Delivery of service reports for projects covering performance, capacity and operations to demonstrate adherence to the agreed Service Level.

- That service acceptance processes followed for the transition of services or processes from development to support.

- Ensure root cause analysis actions are carried out and followed up on.

- Ensure consistent verification of all change activity.

- Ensure contractual requirements are met for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.

- Promote increased efficiency through the use of better tools, elimination of redundant processes and cross training.

- Ensure standard operational processes are in place and followed for all support activities.

- Ensure clear communication of changes to customer requirements are recorded as per CR process and is passed to project teams and that the Delivery Manager is kept up to date with Global and local service improvement initiatives.

- Ensure documentation and other resources relating to the project are accurate, up to date and regularly reviewed.

- Identification and provisioning of appropriate support resources to cover all the planned activities in the practices

- Drive operational excellence program through a rolling service

- As appropriate provide additional levels of support to meet operational contingencies.

SAP Implementation/Upgrade :

- Ability to drive the implementation project activities which includes preparation of project plan, preparation for business blue printing, requirements gathering, master data management, development plans, defect tracking, cut over activities, after go-live support and general project support activities.

- To create a project plan using MS Project or any other tools detailing the WBS for all activities, base lining the plan and track each task in the plan.

- Preparation of Project kick off, stake holder matrix and coordination with client.

- Ability to visualize risks associated with the implementation, conducting risk work shop to capture risk and prepare mitigation plan, discuss with delivery manager and finalize them.

- Track projects efforts spend for different activities and able to forecast the impact for any delay or scope creep, reporting the delays and catch up plan to the Delivery manager

- Prepare data management activity plan, create data organization structure, and plan for cut over and go-live.

- Responsible for ensuring mandatory training are done for team members

- Responsible for handling escalation and reporting to senior management of the progress

- Strong contractual and commercial skills. Can exploit new opportunities to increase business and profitability.

- Maintains control of the project's work and budget at all times.

- Should be willing to work in shift

Mandatory Skills :

- Understands the core concepts of Project management

- Should have experience in SAP projects with at least one implementation or Support experience

- Should be well versed with Scope, Time and Cost management

- Ability to communicate with clients effectively

Additional desirable tech skills : PMP or Scrum certified

Soft skills :

- Effective relationship builder and negotiator capable influencing all levels of management

- Highly customer and quality focused

- Strong contractual and commercial skills.

- Acquiring understanding of a problem or situation by breaking it down systematically into its component parts

- Applying quality standards to all tasks undertaken and ensuring that nothing is overlooked

Min Educational Qualification :

- Graduate Engineers

- MBA will be preferred
