Job title : Head Accounts and Finance Department

Reporting to Location - Rotterdam (Plant)

Role Descritpion :

- Manage financial accounts, tax and ensure effective financial controls including all statutory reporting for the business in Europe.

Job Purpose :

- The position will be responsible for all financial operations in the region.

- The Finance Head will report directly to the Business Head and the Director of the organization.

- This is a key role and will manage revenue forecasts, budgets, management accounts, cash flow for the business divisions operating in the region.

- The person would also support other facilities and operations from a financial perspective. He/she would ensure that Human Resources, ICT, risk, legal and contractual, corporate governance and other office facilities also run smoothly.

- The incumbent will partner closely with the LT Foods leadership and other Functional Leads in the region.

Primary responsibilities :

- Oversee and participate in the full range of financial functions including day-to-day payroll & vendor payments, tax, treasury, financial reporting, business support, SOX & maintain internal controls, and corporate governance.

- Evaluate recommendations and implement policies, procedures, systems and personnel assignments related to the company's accounting/finance organization

- Will be the contact for the Company's banking, auditing, and payroll processing, bookkeeping and tax preparer relationships.

- Be a member of the LT Foods Management and strategy team and participate in the development of the strategy for the regions business activities and the organization as a whole.

- Provide business and operational support to regional sales management through annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Manage performance review and P&L, variance analysis, financial controls and costs, Profitability analysis, Profit and Loss

- Provide management with timely analytical reports on business performance against budget and forecast.

- Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyse results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances.

- Partner with regional management to support new business model initiatives, non-standard business deals, M&A activities and new business operation set up

- Advise and assist local management team in implementing business strategy, corporate objectives, funding arrangement and any other potential ad hoc processes.

- Ensure the development and implementation of effective tax planning procedures, and preparation of corporate income tax returns to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and minimise corporate tax expense

- Assist with preparation of audited financial statements and annual audit process

- Preparing/reviewing corporate tax and VAT returns

- Ensuring the organization is fully compliant with local regulations

- Managing the board meeting process

Skills and Attributes :

- Certification such as CPA, CMA, CIMA

- Experience of 7+ years

- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and preferably IFRS

- All-round professional profile in Finance(Tax & Statutory requirements and Sarbanes Oxley)

- Experience in the international FMCG or sales industry;

- Strong background with financial ERP (especially SAP) would be considered a plus

- Hands on experience in in EU Region & preferably in Netherlands

- Fluent in Dutch, English and Hindi is a must

- Strong leadership skills
