L&T - Assistant Manager/Manager - Audit - Civil

Job Titile : Asst. Manager/Manager - audit Professionals (civil Engineer)

Qualification : BE Civil Engineer, throughout first attempt and first class.

Experience : 5 to 10 years

Location : Chennai

Job Description :

1. Would be a part of corporate audit function covering internal audit for all Operating, Manufacturing and Service Departments of the Company and also for its Subsidiary and Associate Companies in India and abroad.

2. To Review and evaluate all activities, processes and operations pertaining to Engineering, Design, Construction, Manufacturing as applicable for the respective Audit Units as per the approved audit plans.

3. To Review Internal Controls as applicable to Engineering and Construction/Manufacturing.

4. To Review Compliance Report for maintenance of cost records

Competencies Required :

1. Willing to travel anywhere in India and abroad to various Larsen & Toubro Limited Sites and Offices with a willingness to travel (15-20 Days in a month)

2. Demonstrate leadership, possess good communication skills and problem solving skills and with a keen and astute aptitude and mind.

3. Self-motivated, independent and ability to execute with minimum supervision.

4. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced demanding environment.

5. Strong analytical and risk assessment skills. Sound knowledge of accounting systems like SAP/EIP/Baan/JD Edwards would be an added advantage.

Travelling for 15-20 days in a month is required on account of audit at different locations.

Knowledge of Tamil language is essential.
