LSU - Manager - Finance & Accounts

Manager- Finance and Accounts has a crucial responsibility at our startup to develop and implement effective financial strategies that help drive revenue growth and sustainable profitability. His responsibilities include financial forecasting, budgeting, and developing financial models that align with the company's overall goals and objectives and manage accounting function as well.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.

2. Lead and manage the finance / accounts team, including setting clear goals and expectations, providing regular feedback, and creating a positive and collaborative work culture.

3. Collaborate with other executives to develop and implement the company's overall business strategy and ensure financial sustainability.

4. Create and manage a financial plan and budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum return on investment.

5. Analyse and evaluate financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and risk mitigation.

6. Oversee financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, audit, and compliance.

7. Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including investors, lenders, and vendors, to manage financial risk and secure funding as needed.

8. Ensure financial policies and procedures are in place and adhered to, promoting transparency and accountability.

Qualifications and Skills:

CA / CFA or equivalent with following skills -

1. Proven experience in a a similar role in a startup or fast-paced environment.

2. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead an effective finance team.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

4. Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate financial data and metrics, with a deep understanding of finance analytics and tools.

5. Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

6. Strong business acumen and financial acuity, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

7. Experience in fundraising, M&A is a plus.
