Eligibility : B.Tech/M.Tech, LLB and India Patent Agent

JOB Responsibilities :

- Interacting with patent analysts, inventors and client organizations for analyzing their innovations and providing due diligence. Conducting novelty search. Render freedom to operate (FTO) and invalidity opinions.

- Analyzing patentability criteria and providing recommendations on filing of the patent applications and managing portfolios.

- Drafting Patent specifications in the technology field of Telecommunication, Core electronics, Electrical, Electro-mechanical, instrumentation, network and software related inventions.

- Preparing and filing patent applications through Electronic filing on behalf of corporate clients before Indian Patent Office and complying with the rules of the Indian Patent Office regarding Pre and Post-filing formalities.

- Handling prosecution activities of patent applications such as analyzing office actions, valuating objections and prior arts cited, devising strategies on providing arguments, claim amendments and response with the appropriate authority and attending hearings.

Patent enforcement and litigation :

- Draft interlocutory applications, rejoinders, plaints, writ petitions etc., Preparing case briefs, Briefing Sr. Counsels etc.

- Represent clients before Courts, Patent Office, etc.

- Analyze decisions of Patent Office, Intellectual Property Appellate Board (PAB), High Courts, and Supreme Court and make reports thereof.

- Render strategic IP advice and opinions.
