Job Description: B2B Marketing and Business Development Manager
Department: Marketing and Sales
Reports To: Head of Business Development / Marketing Director
Job Summary:
The B2B Marketing and Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, executing, and managing strategies to drive business growth and market share. This role involves identifying and nurturing partnerships, generating leads, managing relationships with clients, and developing marketing campaigns to promote the company's products or services.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Execution:
1. Develop and implement targeted B2B marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition.
2. Design and execute email marketing campaigns, webinars, and other digital outreach methods.
3. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to adapt strategies accordingly.
4. Collaborate with the design and content teams to create marketing materials such as brochures, case studies, and presentations.
Business Development:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, distributors, and enterprise clients.
2. Conduct market research to identify potential industries and clients for business expansion.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and meetings.
4. Lead negotiations and close B2B sales deals while ensuring alignment with the company's revenue goals.
Lead Generation and CRM Management:
1. Develop and manage the lead generation pipeline through channels such as LinkedIn, trade shows, and digital platforms.
2. Use CRM software to track leads, monitor sales activity, and generate regular reports on pipeline status.
3. Ensure timely follow-up with leads and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
1. Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
2. Present periodic reports and insights to senior management to optimize strategy and performance.
3. Set KPIs for marketing and sales campaigns and ensure achievement of goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2. Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B marketing and business development.
3. Skills:
- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and marketing techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing software (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

1. Number of qualified leads generated.
2. Revenue growth and new client acquisitions.
3. Conversion rates for marketing campaigns.
