Relevance of the job :

This position requires someone who is passionate about building tech and driving engineering for scalable supply chain products in line with the company's vision. S/he must be self-starter with the ability to take ownership, build a great team, work in cross-functional teams and deliver the output in line with the vision of the company.

Responsibilities :

- Prepare a road map from tech and engineering point of view for a spectrum of supply chain products from MVP to final products with strong technical infrastructure

- Be hands-on with the newly made product in terms of usability, testing, triage, and design aspect

- Take feedback on MVP from all the relevant stakeholders and incorporate them in making the final product

- Continuous evaluation of different relevant technical solutions available in the market and partner/integrate with them while developing the product, if required

- Manage and maintain the existing tools/applications/system being used in the company and make changes as per the new requirements

- Ensure smoothing implementation and functioning of SAP. Coordinate with SAP vendor in incorporating new features as per the business requirement

- Work closely with diverse stakeholders and enable them by providing scalable and quality technology solutions to their requirements

- Build a team (developers, analysts, etc.) required for developing the product and provide hands on guidance, mentoring to them. Attract and retain talent keeping long term goal in mind

- Supervise and ensure the delivery of high-quality, well written code from team as per the standard practice

- Assess the performance of the team and provide feedback (technical/non-technical) regularly to improve their productivity

- Participate in product core team meetings to discuss status, risks, and strategies across different departments.

Requirements :

- Proven experience in developing and deploying enterprise level application and products with reliability.

- Good understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available setup

- Familiarity with multiple software development tools, techniques, frameworks, programming languages, databases along with their use cases to provide relevant solutions

- Experience in using cloud solutions for developing the infrastructure and deployments of applications.

- Ability to understand the business requirements, translate into technical requirement and communicate to team for development of products.

- Experience in team management, hiring, mentoring, and retaining talent.

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
