Loreal - Data Program Owner

We have an opportunity for the position of Data Program Owner (DPO).

- This role requires a highly organized and experienced individual to lead and manage complex data-centric programs, incorporating strong change management principles and process analysis capabilities.

- The Data Program Owner will oversee all aspects of data initiatives, from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of data management best practices, change management methodologies, and process optimization techniques. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders at all levels.

The location of the job will be Mumbai HO and prior experience in a leadership position in a data organization is mandatory.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Program Management:

- Define program scope, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Track progress against project plans and report on status to stakeholders.

- Proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks and dependencies.

- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Manage cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Process Analysis & Automation:

- Analyze existing data processes to identify inefficiencies and areas ripe for automation.

- Develop and implement process improvements to optimize data quality, efficiency, and accessibility, leveraging automation wherever possible.

- Document current and future-state data processes, creating process flow diagrams that reflect automation integration.

- Collaborate with technical teams to implement and integrate automation solutions. Collaborate with Analytics product owners, data architects, engineers, and analysts to ensure data quality and integrity.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance frameworks.

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices in data management and change management.

- Expert on Data & Analytics product implementation, tool and technologies

Change Management:

- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new data initiatives.

- Conduct stakeholder analysis and identify potential resistance points.

- Develop communication and training plans to address stakeholder concerns and build buy-in.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives.

Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

- Effectively communicate project updates and address stakeholder concerns.

- Influence stakeholders to support data initiatives and drive adoption.

Profile & Experience:

- Masters in Management, computer Science, Technology

- 9-12 years of experience in data program management, including experience with change management and process analysis, with a demonstrated focus on automation and process improvement

- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex data projects on time and within budget.

- Strong understanding of data management best practices and data governance principles.

- Experience with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR), Agile management tools

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).

- Experience in the cosmetics or beauty industry is a plus (if applicable).
