Looking for Founding Members for India's first Social Metaverse - LOKA (Featured on Shark Tank India)

LOKA, A Shark Tank featured Company is India's first Social Metaverse based on the Look and Feel of Indian locations & Culture (like Connaught Place, Delhi or Baga Beach, Goa) where real players in their Avatar forms can teleport into the world and indulge in tons of experiences like Attending Concerts, Shopping together, Playing Games Together, Meeting New People and much more.

Our aim is to create an ever evolving, ever persistent SOCIAL Virtual Space replicating real world locations both in terms of how they look but also how they Feel. We are building a world based on 'LOCALIZATION' which embodies the history, culture, traditions & local behaviour of every location so that Mumbai Feels like Mumbai and Delhi feels like Delhi.

We have added several layers over this to provide contextually relevant and culturally relatable interactive Multiplayer Experiences like- Virtual Events, Interactive Commerce, Dating, Virtual Goods, Gamification Elements and much more. Our eventual goal is to create a self-sustaining world based on User Generated Content, where goods & experiences are created FOR THE PEOPLE and BY THE PEOPLE.

We're also scheduled to host 2022's biggest concert on the Metaverse in India with BoAt Lifestyle besides working with Brands like Red Bull, Sony, Johnson & Johnson, Ola Electric and many more to launch their products in LOKA Metaverse.

ROLE DESCRIPTION :

As a company and concept, both LOKA and the Metaverse at large is in its infancy and hence we are looking for FOUNDING TEAM MEMBERS who are jack of all trades and master of some with multi-faceted skill sets to tackle dynamic challenges that will be encountered on a continuous basis.

Please note that this will be a High Paced, Super Demanding and Ultra Stimulating role which will involve a lot of On-the-go learning and improvisation and therefore individuals with an Entrepreneurial bent of mind would be highly preferred.

Even though, the Job will involve stepping into various shoes every day, but would largely revolve around Business Strategy & Planning, Creative Thinking , Brand Partnerships, Fundraising and Community Management.

QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY :

I. Looking for candidates from Tier- 1 Business & Engineering Schools in India.

II. 0-2 years experiences in roles like Project Management, Brand Partnership or Venture Capital.

III. Looking for candidates from Delhi NCR region only.

IV. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

V. Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.

VI. Decent understanding of the game development and/or website development.

VII. Familiar with live operations, as well as CS and social and community management.

NICE TO HAVE :

I. Prefer individuals who also double as passionate video gamers.

II. Prefer individuals who understand and have worked with Social Media Influencers and Artists.

III. Prefer individuals who understand the Web2.5 and Web3 space.

IV. Prefer individuals with experience in contract and external development agreement structures.

V. Prefer individuals who understand games-as-a-service products
