Job Description:We are seeking a capable Logistics Manager with 5-10 years of experience to lead our logistics operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and organizing the sourcing, receiving, storage, and shipping of materials and products, while also ensuring warehouse safety, quality checks, and smooth coordination with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, Receiving, Storage, and Shipping: Oversee and organize the sourcing, receiving, storage, and shipping of materials and products to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Warehouse Safety Programs: Strategize, develop, and execute warehouse safety programs to create a safe working environment for warehouse staff and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Quality Checks: Conduct regular quality checks of warehouses, equipment, and orders to maintain high standards and minimize errors.
- Sales, Orders, Accounts, Shipping, and Delivery Management: Manage sales orders, accounts, shipping logistics, and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements and optimize efficiency.
- Customer Care and Service: Supervise customer care and service operations to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of customer queries and issues.
- Coordination with Various Departments: Coordinate with departments such as Production, Marketing, PPC, Accounts, and Quality to facilitate smooth dispatch of materials to various customers.
- Dispatch Planning: Prepare dispatch plans and ensure the movement of handling equipment as per the dispatch plan to meet delivery schedules and optimize resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5-10 years of experience in logistics management or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in overseeing warehouse operations, logistics coordination, and customer service.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices, quality management systems, and logistics processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems for inventory management, order tracking, and logistics planning.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency optimization.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
