1. Cost & Delivery:

A) Achieve monthly sales and disptach targets

B) Achieve Budgeted % F/S

C) Timely planning of export shipment once material is ready for dispatch against customer order.

D) Planning of export container stuffing at warehouse/units and CFS as per the requirement.

E) Deliver Shipment timelines as per agreed TAT

F) Create Annual Freight Budget

2. Planning, Coordination and Monitoring :

a) Ensure to achieve budgeted export dispatches in coordination with the PIL Export Business Verticals of IP division which is part of the International Operations Team along with PIL Manufacturing Operations Team(s).

b) Responsible for export movements and documentation for cross Trade and High Seas Trade business.

c) Engage with PIL SEZ at Surat and PIL SEZ at Dahej for issues related to Exports.

d) Arrange for third party inspection such as SGS, Intertek, Bivac, EIA etc. as per the destination Country requirement for the release of the Certificate of Confirmation and Certificate of Origin

e) Ensure updation on export shipment status to Business Managers based in India, Overseas PIL teams and overseas direct customers.

f) Ensure synchronization with PIL International Accounts Team(s):

g) Posting of Export shipment documents in SAP system as per requisite PIL Accounting Standards and timelines.

h) Ensuring clean LC settlements with accurate Export Documentation in consultation with the PIL Export Sales Team and PIL International Accounts

i) Movement of Export Finished Goods from different Export Locations such as Panvel, PIL Kolkata Hub, PIL Baddi, PIL Kalamb, PIL Surat SEZ, PIL Dahej SEZ, PIL manufacturing Units, PIL Job working Units and PIL P2P vendors

j) Monitor the release of OBD by dispatch location of Export consignment for Export Shipment wherever there is a direct dispatch to Port of Shipment from the PIL Manufacturing Unit. k) Ensure that all preferential certificates issued on time as per agreed SOP.

3. MIS, Compliance & Initiatives

a) Initiatives for Cost Control and process simplification

b) Provide relevant & timely MIS like stock ageing report, audit reports, weekly exception report, etc. to PIL Export Sales Team of IP.

c) Weekly / Monthly exception / review meetings with the PIL Export Sales Team and PIL International Accounts

d) Export Pre-shipment document as per the FTP & FTH, Foreign Trade Rules and Regulation Act and Indian Customs requirement for filing the Shipping Bills through contracted PIL CHA.

e) Correct HS code classification for receipt of Export Incentives as per GOI defined policy

f) Maintain proper records of Pre-shipment and Post-shipment Export documents mandatorily as per the statutory requirement of GOI.

g) Ensure correct IMDG classification and documentation for export of HAZ products.

h) External and Internal Audit compliance as per the PIL laid down policy.

4. Team Management

a) Constantly support / enhance capabilities of team members by ensuring process simplification and work re-allocation

b) Manage, coach, and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.

c) Set team objectives/KPIs, review and assess the performance of direct reportees, periodically.
