Logistic Manager -- MNC Food Major
Supply Chain Management for the given region
- Replenishment and Production Planning: Lead and manage the replenishment of local inventory through forecasted demand to cover market requirements for all SKUs through maintaining freshness levels through production plans.
- Inventory Management: Maintaining the local inventory at CFA at an optimum SKU level and projecting the supply and inventory issues in time to the sales team. Optimise inventory turns.
- Logistics and CFA Management: Manage costs and service levels (OTIF) with all 3PL service providers to keep costs within sanctioned logistics budget, engage in finding new storage and logistics solutions. Contract negotiation and updation and maintaining agreed SLAs. Periodic audits of vendor warehouses conducted.
- Support: Sourcing of new products, SKUs, packaging changes to suit the local markets and working on cross-functional teams
- Local Activity Management Support and Compliance: Building local co-packing capabilities and review of local regulatory requirements as required for specific formats or markets.
- Logistics Budget Management: Planning of, monitoring and adhering to the Logistics budget. Tracking expenditure under the various sub heads of the budget having a 10% reduction on the overall spend year on year.
- Business team member: Monthly review of the Supply function as a member of the Category Leadership Team.
