Logicloop - FinOps Specialist - IT Data Center

We're seeking a seasoned FinOps Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in optimizing our cloud spend and maximizing the return on investment for our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Cost Optimization & FinOps Implementation:

- Champion the adoption of FinOps principles and best practices to optimize cloud resource utilization and drive cost savings.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive FinOps framework, including governance mechanisms and cost control policies.

- Analyze cloud consumption trends, forecast future demand, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

-Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to ensure cost-efficient infrastructure design and resource allocation.

Cloud Financial Management & Reporting:

- Develop and maintain clear cost allocation models for accurate cloud spend attribution across business units.

- Design and implement dashboards and alerts to monitor cloud spending in real-time and identify potential cost anomalies.

- Generate comprehensive reports on cloud usage, cost trends, and savings achieved.

- Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate cloud billing and invoice reconciliation.

Technical Expertise & Automation:

- Possess in-depth knowledge of Azure, GCP, and AWS billing models, cost optimization techniques, and pricing structures.

- Leverage expertise in public cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) to implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource utilization.

- Utilize cloud-native and/or third-party cost management tools to gain deeper insights into cloud spend.

- Develop and automate cloud cost reporting processes for efficient data analysis and optimization.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate effectively with cloud architects, governance teams, and project teams on operational and workload cost management.

- Participate in architecture discussions to advise product teams on building cost-efficient solutions.

- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in IT data center infrastructure, with 4+ years focused on public cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS) and FinOps principles.

- Proven track record of successfully optimizing cloud spend and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

- Strong understanding of cloud cost management methodologies and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with Azure, GCP, and AWS billing analysis and cost optimization tools.

- Certified FinOps Practitioner (preferred).

- Certified Cloud Foundation or equivalent certifications for Azure, GCP, and AWS (preferred).

- Solid understanding of basic finance and accounting principles.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and client management skills
