As the Senior Sales Engineer for Enterprise Sales, your focus is on developing business in target accounts. You'll identify end users and decision makers, build relationships with new customers, and collaborate on effective proposals. Your role includes pricing solutions, handling objections, and employing diverse negotiation styles. Conducting business meetings with prospective clients, you'll promote our products and services, predict and address client objectives, and provide reliable after-sales support. Building long-term relationships with customers, both new and existing, is a critical aspect of ensuring the seamless integration of our solutions into their infrastructure.
Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Develop Business in Target Accounts (New or Existing)
- Identify potential end users and the decision makers within the target accounts
- Research and build relationships with new customers.
- Plan approaches and pitches. Work with the team to develop proposals that address the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Participate in pricing the solution/service.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Requirements Bachelor's degree in B.Tech, Diploma in Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT/product sales and/or enterprise software sales
- Minimum of 3 years in a senior product sales leadership role will be advantageous
- Ability to identify potential end users and decision makers within target accounts.
- Strong skills in researching and establishing relationships with new customers.
- Capable of planning effective approaches and pitches, collaborating with the team to develop tailored proposals.
- Proficient in using various styles to persuade, negotiate, and handle objections to achieve positive outcomes.
- Competence in participating in pricing the solution or service offered to clients.
- Clear and effective communication skills to address client needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Skill in arranging and conducting business meetings with prospective clients.
- Ability to provide trustworthy feedback, after-sales support, and build long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Experience in SaaS sales in the sustainability sector and/or enterprise FinTech product firms will be advantageous
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Great technical, organizational, and analytical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales and penetrate new markets
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with various sales software tools Zoho, (Hubspot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, MS Office, Google Drive etc.).

- Familiarity with relevant sales and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

- Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse skills for successful client engagement.
